OUR STORY
Welcome to El Camino Supermarket & Rotisserie — a family-owned market built with heart, culture, and community in mind.
Our journey started with a simple goal: to make life a little easier in the kitchen while creating a lasting legacy for our family. Inspired by our Hispanic roots and the traditions we grew up with, we wanted to bring authentic flavors, ingredients, and experiences to the community we now call home.
Julieta was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, with family roots in Chihuahua, Mexico, while her husband Eddy is from Michoacán, Mexico. Together, our backgrounds and traditions inspired us to create a place where people can find the foods, products, and warm hospitality that remind them of home — while also introducing our culture to others in the Staunton community.
We chose to open our store in Staunton because we saw a need for a Hispanic and Latino market in the area. Before opening, families often had to travel long distances to find the ingredients and products they needed. We wanted to change that by creating a convenient, welcoming space for everyone.
Since opening our doors, we’ve been incredibly grateful for the kindness and support we’ve received from the Staunton community. We love the diversity here and the welcoming atmosphere that has made us feel at home from day one.
Our hope for El Camino Supermarket & Rotisserie is to continue growing, serving our community, and giving people access to the products and meals they love. One day, we hope to expand even further and turn our dream into a franchise that can serve communities beyond Staunton.
